So I watched Hot Fuzz again last night. It was very enjoyable. That is until I started thinking about the Bechdel test. I don’t think it passes it. Sad face to that.
Do any of the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost/Edgar Wright films actually pass it? I really hope so, if only because Spaced remains to this day one of the funniest-and well executed-British comedy series. It also managed to have pretty well formed female characters. Fancy that!
Here is Overthinking It’s fantastic female character flow chart. Peggo, take note.
